Publishing your work

3D Scrab is supported by users, which means that every member can, in any moment, decide to start contributing to the growth of the community. Becoming an author and uploading your works is really simple, and this section will guide you through this process.

1. Become an author

Every user can, in any moment, and without any special requirement, become an author. This means that you will be able to upload your creations to 3D Scrab, sell them and earn money. To become an author, simply visit your My Items page in your private section. If you are not already an author, you will see the "Become an author NOW" button. By clicking this button, you will instantly become an author.

2. Create and upload to 3D Scrab

Once you become an author and create a model or texture, you can upload it to 3d Scrab. Visit the Items page in your private section, and click “Upload new”. Here, specify all required information, upload your file (which must follow our Upload Guidelines) and all the preview images and press “Save changes” at the bottom of the page to save the item and start the review process. Now you just have to wait for it to be reviewed by our staff. You can see its position in the reviewers' queue in your Items page.

NOTES:
Items waiting for review cannot be modified.
Once your item has been approved you can modify its data, but if you upload another file (for example to update it or fix something), it must be reviewed again and it will not be available to the public until it has been approved again.

3. Earn money and get paid

Each time a user buys one of your items, you will get a percentage of the purchase as specified in the following section “3D Scrab payment rates”.
If you have enough credits coming from your sales, you can withdraw them in any moment using the Redeem page. Here, you first have to specify the amount of the payment. The system automatically fills this field with the maximum amount you can withdraw, but you can choose any value between the minimum allowed and your current credits. The next thing to do is choose the payment method.

We currently support PayPal and Wire Transfer, so choose the most appropriate to you. Remember that redeeming with PayPal requires you withdraw at least 50$, while using Wire Transfer requires at least 300$. When you have filled up all the required data, you can click on Request payment to start the payment process.

NOTE: payments occur from 4 to 7 business days from your request. If you don't receive your payment after this time, please Contact Support.

4. 3D Scrab payment rates

When you sell an item, you get a percentage of its sale price. This percentage is based upon your sales rank, corresponding to your total sales amount. The higher your rank is, the higher your payment rate becomes.
Here at 3D Scrab we want to provide the most convenient payment rates for your sales.

You start immediately with a payment rate of 70%.
3D Scrab does not make any distinction between Exclusive and Non-exclusive sales: this means that you get the same rate off each sale even if you sell your items anywhere else.
