3D Scrab is the new 3D models and design marketplace. Here you can buy models and textures made by other members and sell your own to make money.
Here are the basic steps to perform to be able to fully enjoy 3D Scrab.
1. Sign up
If it's the first time you visit 3D Scrab, you should sign up. You can browse our library anyway, but if you want to purchase one of our items or access the other features such as bookmarks or comments, you have to be a registered user.
To sign up, go to Registration page. Here provide some basic data and agree to our Terms And Conditions to complete the registration. You will receive an e-mail containing an activation link which you have to click on to be fully activated and be able to login. If you do not receive any e-mail, please, check your spam messages or try to send a new e-mail through the Account Help page.
2. Deposit money
3D Scrab uses a virtual balance. That means that to be able to buy items in our catalog, you have to first deposit some cash through your Deposit page. We support PayPal as a payment system, but you can pay with your credit card even if you don't own a PayPal account.
Additionally, you can increase your balance by using our Referral Program. Referring users to our website using your special link, will give you the opportunity to obtain a percentage of their first recharge.
3. Purchase items
Browsing our gallery, you may find a model or texture you are interested in. To purchase it, you have to be logged in. In the details page, if you have enough credits, you will see the Purchase button on the right. Just click it, and a brief summary will pop up. Click “Purchase now” to buy the item, and you will see it listed in your Downloads page.
4. Download
Once you have purchased one of our models or textures, you will be redirected automatically to your Downloads page. In this page you will find the history of all items you purchased. We suggest you download immediately each item you buy, because it could happen that it becomes unavailable due to various reasons.
You can also vote for each item you purchase (from 1 to 5 stars). You can only vote once for each item.
5. Earn money by becoming an author
With 3D Scrab, you have the opportunity to become an active member of the community by becoming an author. As an author you can submit your own works and earn real money as other members buy your creations. You can find more information about this topic on the Publishing Guide page.
